Prof. Aharon Barak’s Lecture at the Festive Event Celebrating the Inauguration of the New Conference Hall
On January 24, 2017, a festive event attended by Prof. Aharon Barak, President Emeritus of the Supreme Court, was conducted at the center to mark the inauguration of the new Dr. Maria Rossi Eskoli conference hall. Prof. Barak gave a lecture entitled: ‘Does Israel Have a Constitution, and if So, What is it?’ Over 250 guests attended the event, including numerous VIPs from the legal and corporate sectors.

A conference to mark World Alzheimer’s Day and to inaugurate the new building
On September 21, 2016, the center conducted a conference to mark World Alzheimer’s Day and to inaugurate the new building at the center. The event took place in collaboration with leading organizations such as the Ministry of Health, the National Insurance Institute, EMDA – the Alzheimer's Association of Israel, JDC-Eshel (an organization focused on developing services for the elderly in Israel), The Israel Gerontological Society, University of Haifa, and Bar Ilan University.
The participants and speakers at the event included the Health Minister Rabbi Yaakov Litzman, the Managing Director of the National Insurance Institute, Director Generals of hospitals and HMOs, the President of Bar Ilan University, and other top officials. The official opening ceremony of the new ward took place that day, in collaboration with the National Insurance Institute and the Claims Conference.
The day was attended by around 800 participants, and received widespread press coverage.
